Robin Padilla Confirms To Join Army Reserve Force
ROBIN PADILLA – ABS-CBN actor Robin Padilla just confirmed that he will join the Army Reserve Force.
Filipino action star Robin Padilla is one of the celebrities who participate and reacts on Philippine politics.
The Kapamilya actor is among the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte. In fact, he and his wife Mariel Padilla was invited on a dinner at the Malacañang Palace last May.
On June, Robin Padilla took to the social media to express his support for the mandatory ROTC and revealed he was planning to join the Philippine Army reserves.
“Papasok ako sa Philippine Army Reserve para sa inyo upang masundan ko ang bawat ninyong hakbang tungo sa kabayanihan,” Padilla said.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Robin Padilla confirmed that he will be joining the Army Reserve Force through his social media account.
On Sunday, the actor reposted the Philippine Army’s post regarding his visit to Sulu province to promote peace.
According to the report, Army spokesperson Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala welcomed the Kapamilya actor’s desire to be part of the Philippine Army Reserve Component.
“We thank Mr. Robin Padilla for his time and effort to advocate peace and unity to the people especially those who are affected by the threat of violent extremists.”
“We welcome his desire to join the Army Reserve Component and contribute more to the Army’s thrusts of nation-building. All citizens, whether celebrity or ordinary, are highly encouraged to join us in serving the people and securing the land,” he added.
It can be seen on the Instagram photos of Robin that he was with the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). In the post, he also encourages his fellow Pinoy to join the Army Reserve Force.
