The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the low-pressure area near Zamboanga del Sur would bring rains in most parts of Mindanao.
On Saturday (July 6, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates.
PAGASA said that the LPA was last spotted at 260 kilometers north northwest of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur.
The weather disturbance would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Western Visayas, CARAGA, Davao region, northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula.
Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency also warned the public of possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
