Earthquakes, among the most disastrous natural phenomena, have been occurring in several strikes recently. The frequency of earthquakes have been noticeably increasing.

In a separate report, a strong 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Southern California causing fire and leaving huge damages.

And just recently, another one, an intense 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Los Angeles on Friday Night.

Meanwhile, at the dodger stadium, the ground started shaking at around 8:21 pm on a Friday night. After a few moments, thousands of audiences realized the occurrence and started taking action.

This is the second earthquake in the region within 2 days. Some members of the audience moved away and left their seats while most remained as the stadium kept shaking for almost an entire minute.

Playing on the field were Enrique Hernandez who was in the batter’s box and Eric Lauer – San Diego Padres’ left-handler who was facing Hernandez.

The game continued as normal, with the players seemingly unfazed. Lauer threw up to three pitches while the ground shook. It can be seen in the broadcast as the cameras also shook during the quake.

A video was shared by the Los Angeles Dodgers on their official page showing the broadcast.

A few moments after it was posted, the post already had over 2 million views and was retweeted over 9000 times.

Twitter users also commented checking on the people’s safety.

Some comments had some humorous approach to the situation:

“The pressure of playing a major league game overcomes the earthquake pressure.” – Twitter user @jvaguiar51

“Plus, it’s LA. We’re used to a bit of shaking. Hopefully everyone closer to the epicenter is OK.” – Twitter user @Autarkh

“Hope everyone’s okay!!” – Twitter user @LilahIsSoDun

This is according to an article from LA Times. There were no mentioned injuries at the arena after the massive earthquake.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
