Why Alden Richards Wants To Be Out in Barangay than Staying Inside the Eat Bulaga Studio
ALDEN RICHARDS – Kapuso actor-television host Alden Richards admitted why he prefers to be out in barangay than be inside the Eat Bulaga studio.
One of the most prominent and sought-after stars in the Philippine entertainment industry now is Kapuso actor Alden Richards. He is one of the television hosts in Eat Bulaga.
A segment of the said noontime variety show has helped Alden rose to fame. He and Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza hooked the spotlight with their role as Alden and Yaya Dub.
The ‘AlDub’ segment has ended. Undeniably, thousands of people hoped Alden and Maine will end up together in real-life like their characters. Meanwhile, the two celebrities visibly remained as good friends.
Currently, Alden Richards is often seen with the Sugod Bahay Gang for the ‘Juan For All All For Juan’ segment of the show than inside the Eat Bulaga studio.
In the said segment, he, together with Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, go out to barangays and conduct a game show to the residents.
Recently, Alden Richards admitted that he prefers to be out in barangays than stay inside the Eat Bulaga studio.
Speaking to GMA News, Alden expressed that it is different to hear the stories of the people “first-hand” when they are out in barangays. Getting tired due to the heat of the sun at noon is not a problem with him.
“Iba-iba when you get to hear the story first-hand, ‘yung story ng mga buhay ng tao, you really realize na maha-humble ka na lang (kasi) you are more blessed than them,” he said.
Based on the report, although he prefers to be out in barangays, Alden Richards clarified that he is comfortable when he is inside the Eat Bulaga studio.
The Kapuso actor further stressed that ‘Juan For All All For Juan’ is the “heart and soul” of Eat Bulaga.
“Andun yung Eat Bulaga sa barangay. Sa pagpunta namin sa mga barangay and nagpapasaya kami ng mga Dabarkad when it comes to giving out prizes,” he said.
Currently, aside from being one of the hosts of the noontime variety show, Alden Richards is also busy promoting his upcoming film with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo.
Their movie entitled “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is set to be released in theaters this July 31. It is directed by blockbuster filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Molina.
