Crippled Dog Receives Improvised Wheelchair From Police Chief in Bukidnon

A kind-hearted police chief in Bukidnon proved that faith in humanity is restored after making an improvised wheelchair for a crippled dog named ‘Tiger’.

Acting Police Chief, Police Captain Patrick Castro of Kalilangan Municipal Police Station earns praises online after showing his care and love for a crippled dog.

The homeless dog identified as “Tiger” usually stays at the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station since no one wants to adopt him because of its condition.

PCPT Patrick Dela Cruz Castro said that Tiger has difficulty in moving all the time because its two legs were paralyzed.

Castro made an improvised wheelchair for the dog using pieces of PVC water pipes and wheels from a damaged stroller.

With only pieces of PVC water pipes, a couple of rubber bands, wheels from a damaged stroller and a random act of kindess, One Stray dog in the Municipality of Kalilangan was given a second chance in running. “Tiger”, a stray dog, lost the mobility of her back legs for a month now. On July 2, 2019 at about 12:00NN, PCPT PATRICK DELA CRUZ CASTRO, Acting Chief of Police of Kalilangan Municipal Police Station improvised a wheelchair giving the stray dog a second chance to run and play with the other dogs. The improvised wheelchair helps the dog not only physically but also psychologically, because with the wheelchair, “Tiger” is no longer incapacitated.This applaudable act was held in Kalilangan Municipal Police Station, Kalilangan, Bukidnon.”
