Here’s the initial statement from camp of Eddie Garcia on GMA network’s investigation
The investigation that the GMA network conducted regarding the accident that happened to Eddie Garcia was finally completed and here’s the statement from his camp.
It can be recalled that Tito Eddie accidentally tripped on a cable wire while shooting for Rosang Agimat. He fell and was unconscious when peole carried him to get help.
Unfortunately, there was no medical personnel on the set which is actually a part of the standard operating procedure, especially that they were doing actions scenes.
Previously, the Kapuso network released a statement that they will investigate the absence of paramedics on the set.
Fans, as well as celebrities, waited for the result of the investigation. Even stars from the Kapamilya network, such as Sharon Cuneta and Judy Ann Santos, scrutinized GMA for what could have been avoided.
The Kapuso network announced that they will conduct an investigation last June 10, two days after the accident.
After almost a month, the TV network finally released a statement that they have completed the investigation.
Based on a previous report, here is the statement from GMA:
“GMA Network has completed its internal investigation on the accident involving the late Mr. Eddie Garcia.
“The family wishes to be given a copy before we share the report with the public.
Tito Eddie’s camp requested that the network will give them first the copy of the result before releasing it to the public.
The entertainment news site, PEP, contacted Dr. Tony Rebosa, the spokesperson of the family of Eddie Garcia if they already secured a copy of the investigation result.
Dr.Rebosa said that Lilibeth Romero, the long-time partner of the late actor is currently on vacation but they will release a statement once she’ll have the result, based on the report.
