GMA-7 Network Finishes Investigation of Accident Involving Eddie Garcia
EDDIE GARCIA ACCIDENT – The GMA-7 network finished the investigation of the incident involving the late veteran actor Eddie Garcia.
One of the events that left the showbiz industry and the Philippines mourning is the death of Eddie Garcia. The veteran actor is also known as “Tito Eddie” or “Manoy”.
Eddie has spent most of his life as an actor. He has been on the Philippine entertainment industry for seventy years and is truly a multi-awarded actor and director.
However, last June 8, the unexpected incident happened. Eddie Garcia met an accident on the set. He was doing Rosang Agimat during that time. It’s his comeback project with GMA-7.
The veteran actor seemingly tripped on a cable wire during the taping. He fell on the ground and was rushed to a hospital in Tondo. Later that day, he was transferred to Makati Medical Center.
Eddie Garcia’s accident left him in critical condition and in a comatose state for twelve(12) days. The veteran actor passed away and his family granted his wish – to have his remains cremated.
Undeniably, the GMA-7 received a lot of blame over the Eddie Garcia accident on the set. Many were disappointed that there were allegedly no rescue team there. To this, the network assured a thorough investigation.
Recently, an update has crossed the surface. Based on a report on GMA News, the Kapuso network has finished with the investigation. However, they could not release it yet.
According to GMA-7, the family of Tito Eddie wants to receive a copy of the internal investigation on the accident involving the veteran actor before it would be released to the public.

“GMA Network has completed its internal investigation on the accident involving the late Mr. Eddie Garcia.
The family wishes to be given a copy before we share the report with the public.
Thank you.“
