ZEINAB HARAKE – Social media influencer Zeinab Harake broke her silence after rumors of chin and lip retoke flooded social media, explaining the real reason behind her sudden change in appearance.
Zeinab Harake recently drew widespread attention online after netizens noticed what appeared to be changes in her facial features, especially her chin and lips. Several followers quickly speculated that she may have undergone cosmetic procedures, pointing out that these areas looked swollen in the photos she shared on social media.
The discussion gained more traction when Zeinab posted pictures from her recent birthday celebration. Many fans observed that her appearance seemed noticeably different, prompting various comments and questions, with some directly asking if she had turned to beauty enhancements.
Amid the growing speculation, Zeinab chose to address the issue head-on through a TikTok video. In the clip, she explained the real reason behind the changes seen in her face and calmly responded while pointing to her features, saying, “So mapapansin n’yo, mahaba ba baba ko? Maga ba siya? ‘Yung lips ko? Okay naman, ‘di ba?”
The vlogger clarified that the swelling was not caused by any cosmetic procedure but stemmed from physical strain combined with a medical reaction. She shared that just days before her birthday, she had been busy with multiple endorsement and television commercial shoots. “Days before my birthday celebration, meron akong dalawang endorsement shoot and (television commercial) siya. So the whole time talagang nakangiti ako. Sobrang ngiti.”
She went on to explain that the excessive smiling caused muscle inflammation, which took a toll on her health. “So ngayon, nagkaroon ng maga ang muscle ko sa sobrang smile ko. Hindi ako makalunok ng maayos. Sobrang masama ng pakiramdam ko.
‘Siguro three days before celebration. ‘ Tapos, hindi ko ma-cancel kasi already paid, settle na ‘yung birthday party ko,” she said.
Zeinab revealed that she immediately sought medical advice and was given medication, but her condition unexpectedly worsened. “Uminom ako ng gamot from Japan. Binigay ‘yun ng doktor kasi nagpa-check up ako agad, hindi ko talaga ako makalunok at makasalita.
‘Tapos time na ininom ko ‘yung gamot na ‘yun, the next day namaga po ‘yung [baba at lips part]. ‘Yun pala nagkaroon ako ng allergy sa gamot.”
The content creator emphasized that she has no objections to individuals who opt for cosmetic enhancements, but she firmly denied having undergone any procedures herself, including chin or lip fillers. To support her explanation, Zeinab also shared a video showing her allergic reaction just hours before her birthday celebration, effectively clearing up the rumors surrounding her appearance.
