The Department of Health (DOH) warned the public regarding the common diseases during this rainy season such as dengue and leptospirosis.

On Monday (July 1, 2019), Health Secretary Francisco Duque III warned the public to take precautionary measures against the possible diseases they may obtain during this rainy season.

Duque raised public awareness about the increasing cases of dengue in Regions 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 12.

Earlier this year, the Health Department raised a dengue outbreak in different regions in the country.
