Wife & 3-Year-Old Child Shot by their Family’s Patriarch – A Tondo Police
TONDO POLICE – A cop in Tondo shot his wife and their 3-year-old child, June 28.
Policemen got firearms for the protection of the people and the implementation of the law. Handling it is coupled with responsibilities that is why they should be careful and use it only in appropriate situations.
Also, cops should be careful in handling or keeping their firearms at home most especially if there are small children. Even on cleaning it, they should make sure that the safest moves are done to avoid accidents.
Recently, an alleged accident happened in a household of a policeman in Tondo.
Based on an article on ABS-CBN News, a Tondo police identified as Police Corporal Lester Pagar shot his wife and their 3-year-old child.
According to the mother of the suspect, it was an accident and it took place while her son was cleaning his firearm as a police. His wife and their child were asleep during that time.
The wife of the cop identified as Marlyn Pagar and their child were brought to the hospital. Unfortunately, she did not make it and was declared dead on arrival.
Currently, based on the report, their 3-year-old child is in a critical condition at a hospital. The child is confined in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Pagar’s on public service for six years now and he is currently the intelligence officer of Moriones Police Station. He is now under the custody of Manila Police District.
