TRUMP – US President Donald Trump reportedly approved an order for a military strike on Iran but pulled decision back on the last minute.
Noticeably, tensions between Iran and United States are still on the rise. After Iran’s alleged attack on one of America’s drones, conflicts continued to get worse.
Recently, a rocket landed close to the American embassy in Iraq.
Following the actions taken amidst the tensions forming between the two nations, President Donald Trump called for a military strike on Iran on Thursday. But he repealed his decision while the plan was already being plotted.
According to the sources’ reports, the reason behind the reversal of the decision was unclear. But it was surely against the advice given by Mike Pompeo – Secretary of State – and John Bolton – National Security Adviser.

The military strike plan could’ve ended up worse according to a senior level administration source. The source says it could’ve escalated quickly if it was carried out. Officials were also worried that the attack could’ve ended up with hundreds of civilian deaths.
Earlier on Thursday, Iran shot a US drone down because of their claims that the machine had entered the country’s airspace.
