DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte appointed a new National Food Authority (NFA) chief to replace Jason Aquino.

Undeniably, public service is very challenging. If things won’t go well, there is a tendency that you would be blamed – not only by a single person but by the masses.

One of those who experienced it is Jason Aquino who has served as the chief of the National Food Authority (NFA). He was criticized over the problem regarding the rice supply in the country.

Previously, Aquino has asked the President to relieve him from his post. An update about it recently crossed the surface.

Based on an article on ABS-CBN News, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte has appointed a new NFA chief that will replace Jason Aquino in his post.

According to the report, the President appointed Judy Carol Dansal, a former NFA marketing operations deputy administrator, as an NFA Council policy-setting member replacing Aquino.

Based on the appointment paper released by Malacañang Palace, Dansal will replace Aquino in his post until June 30, 2019, the expiry date of the outgoing NFA chief’s term. It was in July 2018 when he took the post.

Previously, the President expressed that Aquino “cannot cope up with the dynamics” inside the NFA Council so he asked to be relieved from his post.

As of this writing, there are still no other information regarding the matter.
