Netizens react to eviction of PBB Otso housemate Mae Alfante.
PBB OTSO – The dancer from Davao Mae Alfante exits from the Pinoy Big Brother house and here are the reactions of the netizens to this.
On the 21st day of their stay inside the house, it has been announced that the latest evictee is Mae Alfante after receiving only 15.37 percent of viewers votes among other nominees such as Akie Poblete, Franki Russell, and Kiara Takahashi.
She is currently on the hot seat following her statements and teasing about Sky being closeted. Mae showed persistence in pushing that Sky is “bakla” or gay and she feels like she could help him get out of it and admit the truth. To which has left a bad taste to the viewers considering that pointing out and announcing what you think about one’s gender is quite an insensitive act although of good intention.
But Sky Quizon, defended himself and said based on a previous article, “Stereotype si Mae eh. Stereotyping. So, pag hindi pasok dun sa masculine na pananaw niya, bakla na. Yan eh… Sakit yan sa lipunan.”
He strongly believes that love must be put above all including gender. He admitted that he is a heterosexual male and he doesn’t see anything wrong if he falls in love with another man, a gay, or a lesbian. What he believes is the love itself and shared that when it comes to this matter, he is serious – he is serious in falling in love.

And here are some of the various comments of the netizens under this post:
Mae wants Sky to come out of the closet and now the people of the Philippines want Mae to go out of PBB House. Karma is served. Sorry not sorry.
I guess the people did a power vote to evict her for what she did to sky… Hmmm
Some people is saying na bakit evicted si Mae e siya yung nagpapakatotoo. I think she was evicted because her true colors offended the people, especially what she did to Sky.
And as a farewell for Mae, Kuya left her something for her to cherish forever.
