Eddie Garcia Partner Finally Breaks Silence About Actor’s Current Critical Condition

EDDIE GARCIA PARTNER – Lillibeth Romero, the veteran actor’s long-time partner, speaks about his current critical condition after accident in a set.

It was definitely a shock to everyone upon knowing that the veteran actor Eddie Garcia, despite old age whose perfectly fine and healthy, fell into coma after an alleged that he got a heart attack amid shooting for a program under GMA. It has been later on clarified based on a viral video that he got tripped over a cable wire while shooting making him endure a bad fall as he hit his head on the hard and cold pavement.

According to the latest medical bulletin from the veteran actor’s attending physician, Garcia is still on a comatose state. He is on life support due to the fracture he sustained and was just kept being alive by the medicines. He was unresponsive and practically brain dead.

Now, in a report from The Philippine Star, his partner for 33 years Lillibeth Romero speaks up. She said, “He was declared DOA (Dead On Arrival) at the first hospital… I learned that when he stumbled on a cable wire and hit his head on the pavement, he broke his spinal cord. It was the ‘freakest’ of accidents that could have been prevented.”

Moreover, Lillibeth shared that he was revived at Mary Johnston prior to his transfer at Makati. She told, “Eddie was revived at Mary Johnston and moved to Makati Med where my uncle, Dr. Enrique Lagman, confirmed that he suffered neither a heart attack nor an aneurism.”

Now, with the actor still in critical condition, she is not blaming anybody. Only that she is saddened over the fact that no one from GMA was “manning the set”. Also, she noticed that some of those who helped the actor were obviously just bystanders. She was informed that the accident happened during the third shoot of the scene taken from another angle. Lilibeth stressed that the people should have checked the condition of the location as “it was an accident that could have been prevented.”
