Erwin Tulfo Apologized Again DSWD Chief Rolando Bautista
The veteran broadcaster Erwin Tulfo has finally released an official statement several days after DSWD Chief Rolando Bautista sets conditions for accepting his apology.
The controversy between Erwin Tulfo and Rolando Bautista has been one of the most discussed topics on social media.
Tulfo issued distasteful remarks against Bautista after refusing to grant an interview on his radio program.
Eventually, the journalist issued an apology towards the DSWD secretary after realizing his mistakes.
However, Bautista sets conditions and demanded Tulfo to donate at least P300,000 to 19 groups he identified.
Recently, the 46-year-old broadcaster released a statement after being silent on the issue over the past few days.
In his statement entitled “Living and Working Dangerously, As Always” Tulfo apologized again to the retired General and admitted his wrongdoings.
The latter also revealed that his family already received a massive amount of criticisms from Bautista’s friends and supporters.
“I have, along with my entire family, received just as much badmouthing from Sec. Bautista’s friends and supporters as I had verbally offended the honorable Secretary for which I readily apologized. I am truly sorry but whether or not I’m forgiven is beyond me.” Tulfo said on the statement.
