Vickie Rushton On Bb. Pilipinas 2019 Bid: ‘Nasayangan Ako’

VICKIE RUSHTON – Negros representative Vickie Rushton fell short of winning a crown during the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 pageant.

Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Vickie Rushton is among the aspirants to win a crown during the recent Binibining Pilipinas 2019.

The 27-year-old candidate from Negros Occidental is one of the women who stood out in the pageant.

Vickie Rushton won several awards such as Bb. Poten Cee Gandang Palaban, Miss Creamsilk, Miss Ever Bilena, Miss World Balance, Manila Bulletin Award, and Jag Denim Queen.

However, Vickie stuttered while answering Daniel Padilla’s question, “Why is mental health as important as physical health?”

She began answering confidently but she paused midway and stuttered through. It can be seen on the videos that she got nervous and has the erratic movement of her eyes.

“Mental health is as important as physical health because of out inner being. Having self-love is important and as a woman I can inspire and empower people to take care of themselves, to take care of their mind as well as their health. Because they will be as affective… Sorry,” answered Vickie.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Vickie revealed that while she’s answering the question, someone from the audience distracted her.

“Nasasayangan ako kasi I know kung anong sasabihin ko pero may nang-distract sa akin sa audience. Doon ako nawala. May tumayo at nag-make face,” she said.

According to the report, Vickie Rushton admitted that she wasted her chance to win a crown. She knows that she could do better than that if that person did not distract her.

Oo naman po. Nag-prepare naman po ako kahit paano,” she said.

Based on the report, Vickie hasn’t planned for joining Bb. Pilipinas next year but her advocacy will continue.

“Wala, hindi ko pa po naisip pero, of course, ‘yung advocacy ko, tuloy pa rin,” said Vickie.
