US Embassy Closed on Independence Day

The US Embassy and its affiliated offices will be closed on June 12, 2019 (Wednesday) in observance of the Independence Day.

On Monday (June 10, 2019), the United States embassy in Manila issued an advisory announcing the suspension of their operations on Wednesday.

The embassy informed the public that its office along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City and affiliated offices will be closed as the Philippines celebrate its 121st Independence Day.

The regular services of the embassy will resume on June 13, 2019 (Thursday).

The Independence Day is an annual national holiday in the Philippines observed every June 12 of every year.

The national holiday allows the Filipino people to have the full opportunity to commemorate the independence of the Philippines from Spain.
