Catriona, indeed, made a remarkable standard when it comes to the beauty pageant, not just in the Philippines but around the globe.
Her stint in the international beauty pageant stage set a higher standard. Truly, she brought pride to the country and her fellow Filipinos.
As the pageant night is fast approaching, the 4th crowned Filipina Miss Universe shared the qualities that she wants her successor to have and she is excited to pass the crown.
“This is where I was given a chance to represent the Philippines. So to be able to pass that amazing honor to the next Filipina representative, and to see how it’s going to be represented this year is very, very exciting!” she shared during a fashion show and charity gala.
Catriona Gray said that she wants her successor to be someone who will make the Philippines proud.
In addition, the perfect Binibini for her will show to the whole the beautiful Filipino culture and what are the things this country could offer to the world.
The beauty queen also noted that the candidates in this year’s national pageant are all promising, based on the report from The Philippine Star.
When asked about her message to the aspiring queens, she said, “Laban lang!”.
“They are all beautiful. I haven’t had the chance to have a one on one with them yet. I’ve just been seeing a little bit online but they’re all very promising!” Catriona Gray said.
