Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA announced that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would affect most parts of the Philippines.

On Thursday (June 6, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.

PAGASA said that the ITCZ would affect the weather condition over southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The ITCZ would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public of possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
