DOLE Set To Hold Independence Day Job Fair Offering Not Less Than 70,000 Work Opportunities

DOLE – The Department of Labor and Employment will hold an Independence Day Job Fair that will around 70,000 work opportunities to the Filipinos.

Undeniably, a lot of Filipinos have no jobs. Most them are jobless because of the huge number of graduates in their courses which outweigh the demand of companies and establishments.

The Philippine government is doing its best to provide job opportunities to the unemployed Filipinos. The public agency that is hands-on to it is the Department of Labor and Employment.

In fact, DOLE is set to hold an Independence Day Job Fair on June 12, 2019. It will be along the celebration of the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence.

In an official announcement posted on its official website, the Department of Labor and Employment revealed that not less than 70,000 work opportunities will be offered during the DOLE Independence Day Job Fair.

The event is entitled Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) job and business fairs. The work opportunities will be catered at the 22 job fair sites which have yet to be announced by the Department.

Citing the report from the Bureau of Local Employment, a total of 560 employers bringing 68,893 job opportunities will participate in the event. Out of the 560 employers, 461 are local while 99 are overseas.

The DOLE Independence Day Job Fair will offer both local and overseas work opportunities to the Filipino job-seekers. The job orders abroad are for Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Germany.
