Still Unidentified Persons Shot Laguna Barangay Tanod Chief & His Family
BARANGAY TANOD CHIEF – A Barangay Tanod Chief in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and his family and friend were shot by still unidentified persons.
Heartbreaking incidents continue to happen. Yesterday, a 50-year-old man identified as Eduardo Te was shot by a still unidentified person outside his house in Davao City.
Recently, a family became the target in Laguna.
Based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, at least four(4) people were aboard a vehicle in Santa Rosa, Laguna when still unidentified persons shot them.
The Santa Rosa Police reported that the passengers inside the car were the leader of the peacekeeping officers (barangay tanod) in Sta. Rosa, his mother-in-law, his eight-month-old child, and another barangay tanod.
According to Police Master Sgt. Jose Farol III, a van and a motorcycle stopped the car of the victims in Barangay Dita and lodged the motives.
Based on the report, the peacekeeping officers’ chief, his mother-in-law, and another peacekeeping officer died due to the incident. The 8-month-old child of the chief was left wounded.
According to Farol, it is eyed that not less than four(4) persons established their motives. Currently, the investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
