Results of SWS Survey on Happiness & Satisfaction of Filipinos in Life
SWS – The Social Weather Stations released the results of their survey on the happiness and satisfaction of the Filipino people in life.
Undeniably, one’s happiness and satisfaction in life matters and, most of the time, the two(2) are related to each other. You are happy if you are satisfied with your life.
In the Philippines, a social research institution, the Social Weather Stations, annually conducts a survey on the happiness and satisfaction of the Filipinos in life.
Recently, the SWS released the results of its latest survey on Filipinos’ happiness and satisfaction in life.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, almost half of the total respondents said that they are “very happy” with their lives.
In specific, out of the 1,440 total respondents, 44% said they are “very happy” with their lives while 49% said they are “fairly happy”. The total number of those who are “unhappy” is 8% of the total respondents.
According to the report, with regards to the “very happy” rating, it is five(5) points higher compared to the result three(3) months ago which was at 39%.
Reportedly, most of the respondents who claimed that they are very happy with their lives are Muslim people.
With regards to the results of the survey on life satisfaction, SWS survey revealed that 37% of Filipinos are “very satisfied” with their lives. 53% are “fairly satisfied” and 11% are “unsatisfied”.
The 37% of very satisfied Filipinos is three points higher than the result in December 2018.
