PRC To Suspend Services on Wednesday, June 5, 2019
PRC – The Professional Regulation Commission announced that it will suspend all its services on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
Every day, thousands of Filipino people are coming to the different offices of the Professional Regulation Commission nationwide. It is the government body tasked to give licensure exams to graduates.
The Commission has several branch offices nationwide and as well as off-site service centers.
Due to the huge number of the recipients of its services, the PRC observes setting of appointment date on certain transactions. In cases wherein the appointment date is declared a holiday, it will be moved to the next day.
That is what will happen to the appointments set on June 5, 2019 (Wednesday). The PRC will be suspending its office services and as well as the services offered through the off-site service centers and OSSCOs.
The suspension of the services offered by the Commission is in line with the observance of Eid’l Fitr, the Feast of Ramadhan. It is widely-celebrated in PH as a huge part of the Filipino population are Muslims.
The move of the PRC to suspend its services is pursuant to Proclamation No. 729 declaring June 5, 2019 (Wednesday) a regular holiday nationwide.
According to the Commission, its offices will resume the operation on June 6, 2019 and all appointments on June 5, 2019 will be catered on Thursday.
