US Embassy Announces Work Suspensions on May 27

The United States (U.S.) Embassy in the Philippines announced work suspensions in all of its offices on May 27, 2019 (Monday).

The US Embassy said in a statement that its affiliated offices will be closed to the public to observe the Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is a U.S federal holiday commemorating and honoring the people who died while serving the U.S Armed Forces.

“The Embassy of the United States in the Philippines and affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day, a U.S. federal holiday,” U.S Embassy said.

The US federal holiday is celebrated every last Monday of May.
