Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for Thursday (May 23, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the possible weather condition.

PAGASA said that the frontal system would affect the weather condition over southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas.

The frontal system would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region and parts of Visayas.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Metro Manila, and the remaining parts of the country.

The officials of PAGASA also warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the extreme northern Luzon and the remaining parts of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
