Manny Pacquiao And Keith Thurman Faced Each Other At A Press Conference In Premier Boxing Champions (PBC)
PACQUIAO VS THURMAN – Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and undefeated Keith Thurman faced each other at conference before their fight set on July 20th.
In a previous report, Thurman compared himself to a hungry, young lion and he promises to ‘put Manny Pacquiao where he belongs’.
Thurman also said he always wanted to face Manny Pacquiao in the ring. He has nothing but respect for the veteran boxer, and now his anticipated fight is really happening in July.
Before their ultimate brawl, the two met at the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) for a press conference.
In the press conference, Keith Thurman shared his thought about fighting the veteran boxer.
The much younger fighter said that the boxing world is currently in a new era. He explained the state in his statement:
“Times change, I believe boxing has come to a new era. Floyd is gone.”
He referred to Floyd Maywether who retired back in 2017. Floyd was a former professional boxer who’s now an American professional boxing promoter.
Thurman also claimed that Pacquiao will also “disappear” on July 20th. He said:
“I’m doing to Manny Pacquiao what he did to Oscar De La Hoya.”
To which Manny responded by saying that his time is not yet over.
“My time is not yet over. My journey will continue. That’s what I want to prove on July 20.”
In a Twitter post by Reuters Top News a short clip from their press con was featured.
Manny Pacquiao recently defeated Adrien Broner with a unanimous decision. Keith Thurman, on the other hand, called Pacquiao out for a fight after winning against Joselito Lopez.
The two boxers are set to braw in Las Vegas on July 20 this year.
That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
