Alex Gonzaga Personally Apologizes To Paranaque Mayor Over “May Pagkamadugas” Remark

Alex Gonzaga apologized to Paranaque Mayor personally.

ALEX GONZAGA – The Kapamilya star Alex Gonzaga finally apologizes to Paranaque Mayor over foul comment during height of election.

It was in the previous week when the Kapamilya artist Alex Gonzaga got involved in rumors about being a persona non grata in Paranaque City after she called the re-elect Mayor Edwin Olivarez as “may pagkamadugas”. This accordingly happened during the height of the election amid endorsing the rival of the said official.

In a previous article, her sister Toni Gonzaga shared that she will be meeting with Mayor Olivarez to fix and iron out the matter. She said, “She will move on from this. ‘Yung babaunin niya dito ‘yung lesson na natutunan niya… Si Alex, she’s taking everything one day at a time, and she’s maturing from every challenge na pinagdadaanan niya.”

Furthermore, “Iyon siguro ang maganda rito: she knows when she falls down, and when she commits a mistake, she owns up to it, and she moves on and she learns.”

Now, in formal and personal talk, Kapamilya reporter MJ Felipe said in his report posted on Twitter, “Alex Gonzaga personally apologized to Mayor Edwin Olivarez here at the Paranaque City Hall. Mayor Olivarez said no hurt feelings and understood that everything is just politics. “I appreciate na personal tayong nagkita today” said Olivarez.”

Meanwhile, amid the issue, Parañaque City administrator Ding Soriano denied that there was such a declaration against the actress. The mayor might be aware of what she has said against him but Olivarez did not take it personally for he believed that it was all just a part of “politicking”. Thus, there was never a persona non grata declared for Alex.
