Senior Artist Roam Around Metro Manila To Earn Money
SENIOR ARTIST – A senior artist in Metro manila roam around the big city to earn money through his sketches.
Traditionally, artists display their art creations in a space where collections meet an audience. In this way, the audience could visualize the beauty and uniqueness of the artwork.
Meanwhile, a Filipino artist walks around the big city of Metro Manila to earn money by sketching them.
A Facebook user named Maeriel Aquino shared a post about the senior artist named Art Cuvinar who drew her cousin.
The netizen narrated what happened to her and her 3-year-old cousin Kendra Aquino that night.
On April 28, she said they were at a Scrapyard Restaurant in Angono, Rizal when suddenly a senior approached them.
“Nuing una natakot kami biglang lumapit sa amin si tatay, kay Kendra,” said Maeriel.
The senior artist rubbed the little girl’s head and asked she’s celebrating her birthday because her dress really looks good on her.
Maeriel answered and told him that it’s just her cousin’s usual dress. She got scared and worried since the old man was a stranger.
“Pati ako natakot lalo na’t kaya tinawag ko agad tito ko para sana paalisin or tanungin kung [ano ang] sadya. [Akala] ko religious or what, yun pala nagddrawing lang,” said Maeriel.
Her little cousin was so delighted upon receiving her portrait created by the senior artist. He explained that he does not own any place to display his artworks so he roams around the city.
Aquino’s post went viral on social media. As of this writing, it gathered 49 thousand reactions, over 9 thousand comments, and 21 thousand shares on Facebook.
