High-Pressure Area Found Over Eastern Luzon, PAGASA Says

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a high-pressure area was spotted over Eastern Luzon on Thursday (May 16, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country.

PAGASA said that the weather condition over the eastern section of Luzon would be affected by the ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA).

High-Pressure Area

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency has also warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate.
