ENCHONG DEE – The Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee speaks about those celebrities who kept their silence the past non-election years and now voicing out their dismay.
This May 2019 poll gives another shot of chance to people to choose the leaders they think are the best for the country. And among the sensational talk about a couple of days after the election is the inclusion of this certain actor and politician being on the Top 12 of senators despite the fact that he just got out of prison due to his involvement in the Pork Barrel Scam.

These candidates have their respective celebrity endorsers during their campaign. Why are they picking celebrities as their endorser? It is because of the wide influence and popularity of these personalities. And with this, if these stars are really concerned over the future of the country, they can use their voice to speak up for the people about problems.
However, some were seemingly afraid to speak as they could immediately be the subject of criticisms and bashing after speaking up and worse, it would badly affect their career. And the Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee, among those who are brave and vocal to political issues, lambasted these silent celebrities.
Dee said in his post, “A celebrity who prefers to stay silent during non-election years, and prefers popularity over socio-political conversations, for me, is very much late to voice out their dismay.”
