Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for today, May 14, 2019.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that the ridge of a High-Pressure Area (HPA) would continue to affect the weather over the eastern section of Luzon.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and Aurora.

The same weather condition would affect Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas would be slight to moderate.

Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are also expected over Mindanao, according to the weather agency.
