Cynthia Villar Says Her Voter’s Receipt Didn’t Match Her Ballot
CYNTHIA VILLAR – Senatorial candidate Cynthia Villar said her voter’s receipt did not match her ballot.
Senator Cynthia Villar and Sen. Grace Poe currently lead the partial and unofficial result of election 2019 senatorial race.
These two female politicians dominated the top spot on the Social Weather Station (SWS) and Pulse Asia Survey.
On Monday, May 13, Cynthia Villar cast her vote early at Las Piñas City Science High School with her husband Manny Villar and son Mar Villar.
On the Facebook Page of Philippine News Agency, the shared the footage of the actual voting of the Villar family on the said precinct.
It can be seen on the video that Cynthia Villar fed her ballot on the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine.
After receiving her voting receipt, the senatorial candidate checks the small paper if the candidates she voted was on the list.
She asked the Commission on Election (COMELEC) representative about her concern.
“Iha, bat ang hindi ko binoto nasa resibo?” said Villar.
Cynthia Villar was shocked and felt dismayed after she saw a certain candidate whom she never voted was on that voting receipt.
On the latter part of the video, the senatorial candidate can be heard saying, “Ang labo.” Then she put her voting receipt on the box.
However, the senator also said there is a possibility that she made a mistake during shading.
