YENG CONSTANTINO – The Kapamilya singer and composer Yeng Constantino jokes around social media being the newest actress to portray “Darna”.
Among the greatest composer and singer the Kapamilya network had is Yeng Constantino who rose to fame after winning the singing reality competition “Pinoy Dream Academy“.
She is married to Yan Asuncion. They tied the knot in Tagaytay on 2015 to which prior to it, their engagement happened 9 months after they started dating.
Some of her hit songs are as follows: Ikaw, Cool Off, Hawak Kamay, Paasa, Chinito, Ako Muna, If We Fall In Love, Jeepney Love Story, Siguro, Babay, Lapit, Pangarap Lang, Pasko Sa Pinas, Ikaw Lang Talaga, Time In, Away-Bati, Alaala, and many more.
And just recently, flowing along the trend of the search for the next actress to play the role “Darna“, she posted a photo on her Instagram account, an edited one where the body is of Angel Locsin, one of the previous “Darnas” and the face was hers.

The sensation of search for the next “Darna” came in right after the announcement of Liza Soberano backing out to play the iconic role due to her finger injury which she got during shooting “Bagani”. A lot actresses both from the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks put in line to be the next actress to play the said role but the majority’s favorite is Nadine Lustre.
