Ronald Tubid Was Seen Punching The Spiderman-costumed Prankster
TUBID VS SPIDERMAN – After the prank that struck PBA last night, San Miguel player Ronald Tubid threw a punch at the prankster in Spiderman costume.
Recently, the game five of PBA Cup Finals took a weird turn when a man in Spiderman costume decided to join the action. The man was later on apprehended by the security team in the arena.
After being apprehended, the prankster was followed by a crowd of people with cameras trying to capture the bizarre moment. Several videos of the apprehension went viral.
One video in particular, caught some of the netizens’ attention. In this Facebok video poseted by Sports Desk, the prankster can be seen being followed by a crowd.
Ronald Tubid dubbed “The Fearless” was also seen following the prankster down the hallway in a rush. When he finally caught up, he can be seen in the video throwing a solid punch to the prankster.
Based on an article from SPIN, Ronald Tubid admitted to the action and said he only did it to defend his teammate.
He also released statements and apologized for his actions.
“Siguro, dala lang ng init ng ulo. Momentum na namin eh. Instead na tuluy-tuloy, ang outcome natalo pa kami ng two points. So parang yung galit na yun, bakit nangyari yun. Nasaktan yung big man namin. [Maybe it came with the anger. It was our momentum. But instead of being consistent, we lost by two points in the outcome. So the anger, like, why did that happen? Our big man was hurt.]” Ronald Tubid said explaining his actions.
Meanwhile, on Facebook, netizens had various reactions towards the punching incident.
