Here’s Reason Why Sharon Cuneta Avoids Talking About Politics With Husband Kiko Pangilinan
SHARON CUNETA – Singer-actress Sharon Cuneta revealed why she avoids talking about politics with her husband Kiko Pangilinan.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is the wife of Philippine Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan. They have three children Frankie, Miel, and Miguel.
The 53-year-old singer also has another daughter, KC Concepcion. She is her daughter with former husband Gabby Concepcion.
KC Concepcion loves and treats Sen. Francis Pangilinan like her own father. They are really close to each other.
On the other hand, Sharon Cuneta and Kiko’s have different political differences.
On the recent episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda, Sharon Cuneta revealed to the talk show host Boy Abunda and on live television how she and her Sen. Kiko managed it.
Based on a report from Inquirer, Sharon Cuneta said she and her husband tried to avoid talking about politics in their home.
“Ako kasi I always respected what my husband stood for and I always was trying to be the good wife, not saying anything….”
“But he’s been a senator since 2001 and I just felt it was time I made my own stand.” she added.
According to the report, the 53-year-old singer clarified to the host that it’s not really an issue in their family.
“Not really issues. Of course issues, and certain people who I happen to know very well… I could not say anything because Kiko was with the administration (Noynoy Aquino),” she said.
“You guys talk about things in the house or deliberately you avoid talking about politics?” asked Abunda.
“We try to avoid it,” said Sharon.
Based on the report, Kiko Pangilinan is the campaign manager of “Otso Diretso” and the president of the Liberal Party while Sharon is a supporter of President Duterte. The President endorsed Sharon’s brother Chet for Pasay City mayor.
