GARY VALENCIANO – The veteran singer Gary Valenciano marks one year after his unexpected and critical open heart surgery.
In a previous article, exactly just a year after, Gary Valenciano’s management company Manila Genesis Entertainment released a statement informing everyone that the veteran and iconic OPM singer will undergo an open heart surgery.
It happened after feeling a sensation he never felt before after his dance performance where he felt tightness and pain in his chest. After going through series of tests, it was found out that he has a good and strong heart except for the main valve that is “95% blocked” and has very thin walls due to his diabetes. And following his heart surgery, the singer disclosed that he has kidney cancer.
And now, marking a year after his critical and yet successful heart surgery, Valenciano recognized and expressed his gratitude to the people, team of doctors, and especially his family who have stayed with his side supporting him and praying for him on that tough time of his life. It was a matter of life and death.
He expressed, “I find it really hard to believe that that was a year ago today. And I can’t help but thank God for the way He showered His love upon me in the form of my family, my kids, my wife who stood by me from beginning to end. For the greatest team of doctors…”
On Instagram, the iconic singer further wrote on the caption of has post, “The people here are just a few of the many who came to visit me, work on me, and pray with me. You know who you are. It’s from this newly strengthened heart that I say thank you…”
