DUTERTE – Photo of President Duterte watching Netflix in his home in Davao elicited a reaction from Sen. Trillanes.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is considered one of the most controversial presidents in the country.

The Davaoeño politician received a lot of criticism because of his war on drugs. Among his enemies are the Catholic Church, the media, and fellow politicians.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is one of President Duterte’s vocal enemies.

Most of the time, Trillanes contradicts Duterte’s decisions like the country’s friendship with China.

In a previous article, the senator accused the Presidential son Paolo Duterte of being a member of the Chinese Triad. He said the dragon tattoo of Duterte’s son is proof that he is a member.

Based on a report from GMA, Antonio Trillanes IV once again criticized President Duterte for watching Netflix on his home in Davao City. He gave that remark after the public missed him at work for a week.

“Bakit hindi siya nagtatrabaho? Hindi ka ibinoto ng tao para manuod ka ng Netflix nang isang linggo. Hindi pwede ‘yan, hindi ka ordinaryong tao…”

“Lumalabas dito, since wala naman siya sa ospital, ibig sabihin wala siyang sakit, ibig sabihin lang nito tamad siya, kawawa naman yung taumbayan na naso-short change siya dahil parang hari ‘yung kanilang ibinoto kasi pawardi-wardi lang,” he added.

According to the report, President Duterte sent a photo of him watching “Django Unchained” to Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.

Meanwhile, Palace Spokesperson Salvador Panelo reacted on the statement of Senator Trillanes.

“Alam mo ‘yang si Trillanes ay hindi ko na pinapatulan ang kabalbalan nyan… Parang hindi na nag-iisip kung magsalita ‘yan. As if hindi siya nagpapahinga, as if hindi siya natutulog, as if hindi siya nanonood ng TV,” said Panelo.
