Former House Speaker Prospero Nograles Died at 71
HOUSE SPEAKER PROSPERO NOGRALES DIED – Karlo Nograles, son of Prospero Nograles, confirmed that his father has passed away.
One of the names in politics that many people won’t surely forget is Prospero Nograles. He is the first person from Mindanao to be elected as the speaker of the House of Representatives.
It was in 2008 when Nograles became the House Speaker. The Davao-born politician has represented the 1st District of Davao City before he became the House Speaker.
Recently, a sad update about him crossed the surface.
Based on a recent report on Inquirer, Karlo Nograles, the son of former House Speaker Nograles, confirmed that his father died. He was 71 years old when he passed away.
In a statement, the son of the former House Speaker stated that his father died surrounded by his family. Their family is asking for continuous prayers.
