Metro Manila & Cebu Grab Passengers May Avail P50 Discount on May 13
GRAB – The ride-hailing company Grab is set to give a Php 50.00 discount to passenger-voters in Metro Manila and Cebu during the Election 2019 on May 13.
A lot of private entities and groups are joining the Commission on Election (COMELEC) in voter’s information campaign in line with the Election 2019. One of them is Grab, a prominent ride-hailing company in the Philippines.
The upcoming election will be held on May 13. Local and national political bids are set to happen that is why a great preparation is really required from the authorities and as well as the public.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, in line with the upcoming bid, Grab launched the voter’s information campaign #OneDestination.
Reportedly, under the said election campaign, some GrabCar units will have flyers and stickers that contain voter information. The private firm also has a pool of influencers who will be around on certain discussions.
Based on the report, aside from the voter’s information flyers and stickers, Grab is also set to give away Php 50.00 discount to its passenger-voters in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu on May 13.
According to the ride-hailing company, the public may avail the discount in catching a ride on their way to polling precincts to vote. It can be done through utilizing the code ONEDESTINATION.
According to Brian Cu, the President of the ride-hailing company, their role goes beyond providing safe, seamless, and reliable services to the public as they also want to “cultivate a sense of community and unity” among Pinoys.
