Carmina Villarroel does not want the Legaspi Twins to do movies, for now
Kapuso actress-host Carmina Villarroel revealed the reason why she does not want yet the Legaspi twins to do movies.
Mavy and Cassy currently have two regular shows in the Kapuso network.
However, as a mother, Carmina said that she is not yet ready to let her children with husband Zoren Legaspi to have movie projects.
“Hala, parang hindi pa yata ako ready! Ako talaga ang hindi pa ready,” during an interview with PEP.
On the other hand, she is considering it if the project is really good for the Legaspi twins.
The actress-host admitted that she has not talked about it with Mavy and Cassy yet because they are still prioritizing their studies.
Next, school year, they are going to enter college. “Baka sa University of Asia and The Pacific, baka ha? Magkaiba sila ng course, pero parehong nasa business side, kasi ang UA&P is known for business courses, di ba?” the actress shared.
Meanwhile, Carmina Villarroel shared that she and her husband are letting their twins handle their own earnings from their showbiz projects.
For the actress, it is good training for Mavy and Cassy to handle their finances with the knowledge that it is hard-earned money.
“Ever since naman, hindi sila spoiled na mga bata. Sinasabi talaga namin na hard-earned money yung nakikita nila, mga bunga ng paghihirap namin ni Zoren,” she shared.
Aside from the virtue of handling money matters, Carmina is also proud that her twins grew up to be respectful children, based on the article.
“Lahat naman ng mga magulang, talagang ang wish natin, magabayan sila nang tama, maging respectful sila kahit sabihin natin na naiiba na ang panahon ngayon.
She added, “I am very thankful naman na yun lagi ang sinasabi sa amin ni Zoren na mababait, magagalang, at masusunurin ang mga anak namin.”
