Partial Bank Schedules for Labor Day 2019 on May 1
BANK SCHEDULES – Here is a partial schedule of banking institutions this Labor Day 2019 which will be celebrated on May 1.
The upcoming holiday this May is the Labor Day. It is one of the regular holidays in the Philippines and it falls every 1st day of May. This event is a nationwide celebration in commemoration of the hard working men and women in the society.
Usually, a lot of banks are closed during the Labor Day celebration. That is why most people conduct their banking transactions before the month of April ends to avoid delays which may result to penalties.
For the Labor Day 2019 on May 1, several banks in the Philippines have already notified about their schedules.
Based on a recent report on GMA News, under the partial bank schedules for Labor Day 2019 this May 1, four(4) banks have already announced that all their branches will be closed on that day.
The following banking institutions that advise their clients to make their transactions ahead of May 1 as they will implement closure on that day are the following:
- Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
- China Bank Corporation
- BDI Unibank Inc.
- Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank)
According to the report, the Security Bank Corp. will have two(2) branches opened on Labor Day 2019. The said branches are located at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and the NAIA Terminal 3.
