Rodrigo Duterte To Issue Dismissal Letters For Corrupt Officials
RODRIGO DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Duterte said he will issue “letters of dismissal for the corrupt officials.
Davaeño politician Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte is the current president of the Republic of the Philippines.
The 74-year-old politician vowed to fulfill his promises that he will abolish illegal drugs and corruption in the country.
Rodrigo Duterte gave a statement before the midterm election day regarding his promises.
“I don’t make promises that I can’t keep. If I say it in public, I will fulfill that until my dying day. Even If I have to rot, I will do it as long as I can fulfill it,” said Duterte.
Rodrigo Duterte once again complained about the corrupt officials in the country on Tuesday at a doctor’s conference in Pasay City.
Based on a report from Philstar, Duterte said officials who are guilty will be removed from their posts before he leaves for China to attend the Road Forum and Second Belt.
“I’m going to work for the next three years. But if you ask me if I’m happy with the job, I am not because of so many corruption and I have to fire…”
“I’m leaving for China and before that I will leave so many letters of dismissal,” he added.
According to the report, Rodrigo Duterte admitted that corrupt officials devastated him a lot.
“Corruption is really – seeps down to the core. You have to have something more than just a warning. I’m the only President who… beats up people. You can ask the security guards,” he said.
Based on the report, President Duterte disclosed that corruption is one of the issues that made him regret running for the presidency last 2016.
“Maybe it was a very stupid decision. But if you ask me now in hindsight… when I think of the moment I decided to run, that I regret,” said. Duterte.
Meanwhile, the Malacañang hasn’t released any announcement yet about the “corrupt official” since Duterte left for Beijing yesterday.
