Oarfish Appears in Dilasag Aurora Before Earthquake Hits Parts of Luzon

An oarfish has been found in the coastal areas of Dilasag, Aurora prior to the devastating magnitude 6.1 earthquake in parts of Luzon.

On Monday (April 22, 2019), a magnitude 6.1 earthquake hits some parts of Luzon with the epicenter found in Castillejos town, Zambales.

The devastating quake hardly hits the province of Pampanga that destroys several establishments and kills at least 16 people.

On Tuesday afternoon (April 23, 2019), a magnitude 6.5 earthquake violently shakes Eastern Samar.

On Wednesday (April 24, 2019), a 4.7-magnitude quake also rocks Davao Oriental following the powerful tremor in Luzon and Samar.

Recently, the Facebook page “The Story of Anthony” reported that an oarfish has been found at the town of Dilasag in the province of Aurora last month.

About four people carried the long and heavy deep-sea creature found in the coastal area of Aurora.

Over the past few years, the appearance of deep-sea creatures including oarfish in shallow waters has been linked to natural calamities and disasters.

A Japanese seismologist also said in a statement that the appearance of deep-sea creatures in shallow water indicates the occurrence of natural calamities such as earthquake because of their sensitivity to sea ground activities.
