Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon was hit by a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 on Monday afternoon of April 22.
Several establishments and individuals got injured while others, unfortunately, end up dead. PHIVOLCS recorded 400 aftershocks following the powerful earthquake.
In a previous article, a netizen shared his horrifying experience on a popular apartment with “damaged” fire exit. He and others got devastated and worried they might not get out alive from the apartment.
Netizens who were on a safe site were quick to record the shaking and swaying of tall buildings. Their videos on the Luzon earthquake went viral.
A Facebook netizen named Rhys Palaganas shared video footage of people running in panic to evacuate a mall.
It can be seen on the video that the people inside the mall in Clark were running towards the exit. A large object that dropped from the ceiling was also caught on camera.
The people can be heard shouting ‘evacuate’ while some were heard crying. Good thing the kids have been cooperative with their parents.
As of this writing, the video garnered 103 shares and 16 thousand views on Facebook.
Lots of netizens commented on how the people inside the mall reacted during the earthquake. Here are some of their comments on the post:
