Metro Manila DFA Consular Offices Closed Today (April 23, 2019)

DFA CONSULAR OFFICES – Several offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Metro Manila are closed today, April 23, 2019.

The recent 6.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Zambales brought worries to the people. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded that it jolted the place at 5:11 pm yesterday.

The strong quake brought shaking to several buildings in Luzon leaving a lot of people in fear of what might happen next. Many are worried over the possibility that it was a sign of the Big One coming.

Following the quake, class suspension was declared in several areas and schools in Luzon. Aside from it, certain offices like the DFA Consular Offices in Metro Manila are closed today.

Based on a recent post on the Facebook page of ABS-CBN News, in compliance with the announcement of Malacañang, the following DFA Consular Offices in Metro Manila are closed today:

  • DFA Aseana
  • DFA CO South in Alabang Town Center
  • DFA CO West in SM Manila
  • DFA CO Central in Robinsons Galleria
  • DFA CO East in SM Megamall
  • DFA CO Northeast in Ali Mall
  • DFA CO North in Robinsons Novaliches

Based on the post, the applicants who have their appointments to the any of the aforementioned DFA offices are advised to go to the office between April 24 to May 10, 2019.

The applicants should bring their confirmed appointment packets and e-receipts. Certain limitations may be imposed on Courtesy Lane services to accommodate those with appointments today.
