Oil Companies Announce Price Increase on Petroleum Products Staring on Tuesday
Several oil companies in the country are set to impose a price increase on petroleum products effective on Tuesday (April 23, 2019).
Over the past few months, Filipino motorists were struggling on the soaring prices of petroleum products.
The consecutive oil price hike also causes an increase in the price of basic commodities and food products contributing to the daily burden of Filipino people.
Some oil firms announced that they would implement a price hike on price of gasoline products starting Tuesday.
Shell and Petro Gazz would impose P0.10 per liter of Gasoline starting 6:00 am tomorrow due to the adjusted price of ethanol.
Meanwhile, the prices of diesel and kerosene remain the same, according to the oil companies.
Since January 1 until April 21, 2019, the prices of gasoline increased P10.19 per liter, P7.64 per liter of diesel, and P5.17 per liter of kerosene.
