Video of Male Commuter Stealing Lady Passenger’s Cellphone Now Making Rounds Online
A male commuter stealing the mobile phone of a lady passenger inside of a public jeepney was caught on camera and now making rounds online.
Nowadays, robbery has been of the most common crimes not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world.
The Duterte administration is now implementing stricter rules and regulations but the rate of criminality continue to increase.
The authorities have already advised the public to be more vigilant and aware of their surroundings to avoid being a victim of different modus.
Recently, the Facebook page “Super Radyo Iloilo” has shared the video footage of a male commuter caught stealing the mobile phone of a young lady passenger.
In the video, it can be seen that the guy sneakily performed his stealthy moves to steal the cellular phone of a lady passenger sitting beside him inside the jeepney.
The robbery incident happened inside the jeep while traveling along E. Lopez Street in Jaro, Iloilo.
The 30-year-old suspect identified as Rodney Gallego has been arrested during the hot pursuit of the authorities on his home at Zone 1-A Barangay San Juan, Molo.
The suspect revealed that he already sold the cellular phone at a price of P1,500 to his close friend in Mandurriao.
Gallego is now facing Theft charges due to the incident.
