A French Billionaire Offered 100 Million Euros To Help Rebuild The Notre Dame Cathedral
FRENCH BILLIONAIRE – After the tragic fire that happened in France yesterday, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault was moved to donate some of his wealth for the Cathedral’s reconstruction.
Yesterday, the famous Notre Dame Church caught on fire leaving massive damages on the building.

The historical Cathedral was to able to survive through the French Revolution back in the 18th century and rising to popularity in 1831 after “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” by Victor Hugo came out.
The Cathedral is also one of the most visited tourist attraction in France. Despite the devastating flames burning most of the building, good news kept coming since right after the fire was put out.
Several good news including the fact that there were no reported injuries or fatalities and that all of the Cathedrals relics and artworks were saved.
Recently, another great news came when a French businessman heard about the fire incident and decided to help out in rebuilding the massive ruins after the burning of the Catholic landmark.
Francois-Henri Pinault was the CEO of the internation luxury group ‘Kering S.A’. Based in Paris, France, the group owns luxury brands including:

- Yves Saint Laurent
- Balenciaga
- Alexander Mcqueen
- Bottega Veneta
- Boucheron
- Brioni and,
- Pomellato

Agence France-Presse or AFP received a statement from the CEO of Kering group saying that Pinault Family’s investment firm would provide for the money necessary to completely rebuild Notre-Dame.
They offered a huge amount of 100 million Euros or roughly 113 million US dollars. Fans of the Cathedral now have another reason to rejoice after the tragic incident.
