Viral FB post of Xian Gaza about going out of the country is FAKE – Bureau of Immigration
Bureau of Immigration (BI) stated the viral post of Xian Gaza about sneaking out of the Philippines amid 3 warrants of arrest is fake.
Just recently, the businessman and social media personality caught the attention of the online community as he elaborated his alleged trip abroad.
Gaza stated that the immigration did not catch him despite that he was charged five years imprisonment for violating the Anti-Bouncing Checks Law.
He elaborated his alleged strategy of how to sneak out of the country through a post on Facebook. The businessman also showed photos of him in the immigration, check-in counter and while he was inside a plane.
Following this, the Department of Justice (DOJ) verified if the claim of Xian Gaza really happened.
In line with this, the Bureau of Immigration released a statement, based on the report from CNN Philippines.
According to the agency, the claim of Gaza is “fake news”.
BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval stated that it is not true that the businessman sneaked out of the Philippines.
Sandoval added that there was no hold departure order or warrant of arrest against Xian Gaza when he went abroad. That is the reason why no one hindered him to travel.
Based on the report, BI is now studying what action they will do against
