President Duterte Challenged by Otso Diretso Senatorial Candidates
Several Otso Diretso senatorial bets were challenging President Rodrigo Duterte to fulfill 2016 campaign promise.
Election candidates are now making different campaign strategies and programs to earn the sympathy of Filipino citizens.
The candidates were doing their best to convince the Filipino voters to vote for them on the upcoming 2019 midterm elections.
Recently, the Facebook page “ABS-CBN News” has uploaded the photo of some senatorial candidates from Otso Diretso holding a placard that challenges Mr. Duterte.
In the photo, it can be seen that Otso Diretso bets Chel Diokno, Samira Gutoc, Gary Alejano and Pilo Hilbay were challenging President Duterte.
The opposition candidates were challenging Mr. Duterte to fulfill his promise to ride a jetski and place Philippine flag in the country’s territories during the 2016 campaign.
The senatorial bets were also challenging the president to defend the country’s sovereignty against China as a part of his campaign promise.
